CENTRAL LIBRARY
The central library primarily strives to assist both students and faculty members in achieving their academic and research goals. The library is a treasure trove of knowledge and encourages its users in updating their knowledge by acquiring numerous resources in its collection. The library's collections predominantly consist of books, which include numerous titles under the siddha and modern disciplines. The library subscribes to periodicals such as international, national journals, magazines, and newspapers to provide readers with insights into the current events emerging in their respective subject areas. The library also keeps back issues of periodicals such as journals for reference. The library is computerized with Campes - i Lib: The Digital Librarian commercial software to provide users with improved services. The library also includes CCTV surveillance cameras to ensure adequate supervision of its holdings.

Library is computerized with Campes –I Lib: The Digital Librarian commercial software. By this software, OPAC facility is available at the entrance of library to facilitate online search of library documents available in the library by giving keywords like Title, Author, Publisher etc.,
READING SECTION
The library reading area provides sixty seats in capacity to accommodate users' reading in the library.
DIGITAL LIBRARY
The digital library offers nine desktop computers with high-speed internet connections for exploring the internet and accessing the library's e-resources. There are also 54 Book CD’S available in this section.
E- RESOURCES
The library has 1650 e-journals with full text access on Indian and modern medicine subjects provided by Delnet.

LIBRARY MEMBERSHIP
During their study/work period, faculty and students who join Nandha Siddha Medical College and Hospital are automatically enrolled as patrons of the NSMCH library.

LIBRARY RULES AND REGULATIONS:
- The students should keep silence in the library.
- Use of cell phones is prohibited in the library.
- Every student will be issued two library cards. Library books will be circulated only upon presentation of library cards. Only one book will be issued per card.
- Students should return their books on or before the due date. If a student fails to return a book by the due date, a fine of Rs.5 per day will be imposed, with Sunday and holidays exempt.
- Books can be reserved for issue or extended usage if no other user has a need for the same book.
- The issued books can be renewed for another 15 days by the user in person.
- Reference Books as well as Periodicals will not be lent out.
- After using computers, users should properly shut down their systems.
- Users privileged with access to library materials must handle them with care.
- The students must keep their belongings in the belonging racks.
