Pediatric department is a backbone for medical system because it’s protect the younger generation.
In this department deals with the children from birth to 12 years of age group and also discuss to how expose the diseases in children,cause and their cure.
Pediatric outpatient(OP) ward in our college is functioning with best medical team and equipments.
The pediatric inpatient ward (IP) has good bed facilities with nursing care. This will help the students to clearly understand the diseases and treatment.
In our pediatric department, we provide special treatment for children with diseases such as myopathy (Thasaivatham), Cerebral palsy(sirakambavatham), Anemia(pandu), Worm infestation (kudal kirumi) etc., Also here “Urai mathirai” is provided to increase immunity of children.
There is a facility here with an equipment for massage, speech and learning therapy, training for walk etc.,
There are associate and assistant professors of this department to impart the best education to the students .They organize and conduct
many camps which benefit the patients.
