This subject deals with the basic and Fundamental principles of siddha system of medicine. it is based upon the 96 basic concepts called '96 Thathuvangal', with a detailed description of the Philosophical knowledge gifted by Siddhars, the spiritual scientists. The Department at Nandha Siddha Medical College and Hospital, provides an in-depth knowledge right from the History of the universe and evolution of the human race, the History of Tamilnadu and of siddhars, scientific changes with which the world revolves and the physical and psychological discipline to triumph these changes.
Tamil language as a subject is mandatory for the students who have not studied Tamil as their major language in their 10th or 12th standard.
The main aim of the subject 'communicative English' is to develop the communicative skills of the learners in listening, speaking, writing and Reading. They are also taught about grammar so that they use grammatically correct sentences while speaking and writing and thus become an effective and efficient communicators in English.
