The Subject includes Siddha Surgical procedures, Minor Surgical procedures, External Therapies, ENT, Opthamalogy, Dentistry and Skin diseases.
The department handles the procedures Attai vidal for non-healing ulcers (Mathumega pun, Naala vipatha pun), Kaara Nool for Moolam and Powthiram.
The subject also deals with the Sathirayuthangal (Siddha Surgical instruments), Suttigai (Cauterization), Vedhu (Steamtherapy), pugai (Fumigation) and ottradam.
This department has Professor and Assistant professor to carry out all academic activities. Major thrust of the department is on teaching and learning the undergraduate course as per the NCISM.
