In this field used to diagnose and treat women’s disease, that occurs from puberty to old age.
“Women health is an example for population of health” - based on this goal, our college has facility for women’s outpatient (OP) & inpatient (IP) treating departments, also available all basic test for pregnant women.
Treatment is given for diseases such as Leucorrhoea (vellaipaduthal), Dysmenorrhea (Soothagavali), Metrorrhagia (Perumpadu), Menopause (kadai poopu) and Infertility (maladu). Also “Pattikattal” peculiar procedure is given here in uterine prolapsed women.
The associate and assistant professors of this department support the students in all aspect of their studies and teach the students to women diseases & using instruments via teaching and experimental explanation.
